6 months in Bali 🌴🥹 I can’t believe that it’s almost 6 months ago that I moved to Bali. On September 7th it will be exactly six months! Moving abroad has been a dream of mine since I was little and now I’m finally living that dream 🤍 People often ask me why I moved to Bali and here are some reasons why: ✨ The local people are so friendly and make you feel welcome everywhere, they are a huge factor why I moved here. I feel so loved and they’re so kind to everyone 🥰 ✨ The Balinese culture is one of my favorite things. I love waking up to the smell of offerings, seeing local people do their ceremonies and not to forget all the beautiful public holidays Bali has, just like Nyepi & Galungan for example. I feel so lucky to be able to experience it while I’m here 🙏🏻 ✨ Of course the weather is a huge factor for me as in the Netherlands it’s always either too cold or too hot. Here it’s always hot and I like it 🌞 ✨ I love the stunning nature everywhere. Bali has it all; from beautiful white sand beaches to black sand beaches, mountains, volcano’s, waterfalls & ricefields. There’s always something to explore on the weekends! And I can’t wait to explore more of Indonesia too 🤩 ✨ I love that I live near the beach. I’ve never had that growing up and I always wondered what it would be like. Now I live 10 minutes away and watching the sunset is my favorite thing to do after I’m done with work 🌅 ✨ Last but not least I love all the friends that I’ve made here! It’s so easy to meet people and some have become really close friends 🩵 There’s so much more I wanna share but I’ll do that in a different post. 😇 I have to go to Singapore next weekend to do a visa run and I’m so excited to be in a city again! Looking for the perfect place to watch the sunset and have a lovely dinner with your friends or family? @labrisabali is the answer! 🌞 It’s one of my personal favorites and I always take my friends and family there who are visiting me from home 🤍 the ambience is beautiful and the food is honestly so good. I had the opportunity to try their new specials and they are so delishhh 🤩 You can also enjoy the ocean view during the day and relax on one of their daybeds or bean bags, jump in the pool every now and then or visit their iconic Sunday market. Ga dan naar Penglipuran village 🤩 Laat je betoveren door dit prachtige dorpje, de lieve locals en de fijne sfeer. Penglipuran staat niet alleen bekend om het iconische straatje, maar het draagt ook de naam van het schoonste dorpje op Bali. 💚 Het beste is om er zo vroeg mogelijk heen te gaan zodat het nog lekker rustig is. Ben je er tijdens een feestdag zoals Galungan?
